REMINDER: PTO Chili Supper and Cheerleader Quarter Auction for St. Jude will be Saturday Feb 9th at 5 pm. All proceeds will be donated to the St. Jude Radio-thon. Raffles for 1 of 4, 50lbs boxes of ground beef and several classroom baskets will be up for auction. Several vendors with popular items for auction from Tupperware, Magnetables, Gerties Gifts, Pink Zebra, Norwex, and Color Street.

School has been cancelled today, wednesday Jan 30th for extreme cold and windchill factors combined with likelihood of early morning snow creating hazardous travel conditions.
Classes will resume tomorrow Tuesday, January 22.
School for Friday Jan 11th has been cancelled due to freezing rain creating hazardous road conditions for early morning travel.
B team girls 1st game will be Monday the 7th @ Glenwood at 5:40. They can ride the bus there but need a ride home.
Due to early dismissal by West Plains Elementary, High School and forecasted weather. Junction Hill will be dismissing at 2:15 today. All after school sports and tutoring have also been cancelled. Our Veterans Day assemble has also been rescheduled for tomorrow at 2:30.
We will begin the tournament tomorrow morning at 9 am at Fairview.
Tomorrow's tournament ballgames are cancelled due to wet and muddy field conditions. Rescheduled games notification will be sent out tomorrow afternoon.
Due to wet field conditions and high probability of storms this afternoon Baseball and Softball games have been cancelled and rescheduled for next Wednesday Sept 12 at Richards sports complex. A team Game will start at 12 noon.
Dr. Martin will be coming to the school on August 30th to do sports physicals for all students who want one. I am sending the forms home today and they need to be returned by Friday, August 24th. Booster club is paying the $3 per child fee so they are free to all students.
Precautionary Boil Order for Junction Hill School and Junction Hill area.
Junction Hill School is now under a precautionary boil order until water sample result.
Due to a drop in line pressure overnight the Junction Hill School is now under a boil order until water sample results are returned. The school will have bottled water available for students. Students are welcome to bring their own water bottles if they would like to during the boil order. As soon as we receive notification of water sample results we will notify everyone when we are free of the boil order.
Baseball & Softball practice Thursday Aug 16 and Friday Aug 17 after school until 6.
Baseball Practices start Monday July 30th, at 6 pm. Weather Permitting.
Science Fair is tomorrow at 4pm to 5:30 in the gym. Awards will be given out at 5:30. k-2 will be doing class projects and 3-8th will have individual projects.
May 3rd 10:00am - A representative from West Plains High School will be here to administer the math placement test to all 8th graders.
Student Council will host a Spring Fling dance on Friday, March 23 from 6-9:00. Please remember that eligibility requirements are in place for after- school activities. Students may attend if their grades are C's or above and they have no disciplinary referrals for the semester.

Dairy Queen day has been moved! Dairy Queen closed due to the weather, we are continuing it for Thursday February 8th! Hope to see you all there.
