All of the proceeds the PTO raised are invested right back into the classrooms for students and student projects. The PTO was able to raise $3,477. This is so awesome. Thank you again to all who attended, and the night of fun and activities was a huge success.

Now that the clouds have moved out the ballfields are drying very well. Everything indicates Play In Baseball and Softball games will be played at Richards tomorrow.

The Baseball and Softball Tournament games today at Richards are cancelled due to muddy field conditions. The much needed rain for the area was to much for the fields to absorb and be able to play today. 9/25/25

September 24th from 7:25-7:45 See You at the Pole presented by the Junction Hill Student Council.

Junction Hill Second Grade Teacher, Mrs. Julia Kelley, has been awarded the Missouri Farm Bureau Mini Grant for her classroom for the 2025-2026 school year. She is using the grant money for teaching about plants, life cycles, pollinators, and honeybees to her students. All of these areas are tied to her second grade curriculum throughout the year.

Greetings Parents.
This past week we noticed many students with heavy hearts and big feelings. Some of this is related to terrible events they had heard about in the news, and for some, it was more individual concerns. We know that families in our district have had, or are experiencing difficult times. Junction Hill has asked behavioral health crisis management specialists to come and speak with our 5th - 8th students in an assembly format about coping strategies and how to access help in a critical situation. This will include a brief conversation about suicide or self harm and what to do if you or a friend/family member has concerns in this area. As this is an important, but heavy topic, we want to allow any families to opt out of this assembly. We have the assembly scheduled for Tuesday the 16th at 2:50 pm. I am sending home an opt out letter. If you would like for your child to opt out, please return this with your child before Tuesday the 16th, email Dr. Perkins or Mrs. Sellers, or call the school office.
Thank you.

If you do send an email please mark the heading as OPT OUT
