Van Gogh-ing Wild in Art

Kindergarten, 2nd and 3rd grades have been Van Gogh-ing wild in art class with paint. Kindergarten is learning about space and color, as well as how to use different directional strokes to create different effects with paint. They created their own unique Starry Nights. Second Grade has been learning how to blend watercolor paint correctly, and created beautiful renditions of Vincent Van Gogh's Sunflowers.  Third grade has been working on properly blending acrylic paint as well as working in planes (background, middle ground, foreground). The 3rd grade students created their own versions of Van Gogh's Wheat Field paintings and did a fantastic job.
