It’s hard to believe it’s almost time to begin another school year. The custodians and teachers are hard at work getting ready to welcome back our Hornets and their families. As you enjoy your last days of summer, here are some important dates to help you prepare for the upcoming school year.
New Student Registration - ongoing during regular office hours. Please remember to bring the student’s birth certificate, shot records, and proof of residency in the Junction Hill district.
Backpack to School - Our annual Backpack to School program is August 3 from 11-2 in the Junction Hill gym. School supplies will be provided to all Junction Hill students who attend. There will also be an opportunity for free haircuts and shoes. Sno cones and hot dogs will be provided.
5th Grade and New Student (grades 6-8) Orientation - Monday, August 12 at 5:30 - A snack supper will be provided. The 5th grade teachers as well as administration will present information on the upcoming school year. Schedules will be passed out and students will have the opportunity to become familiar with the upper grade hallway.
School-Wide Open House - Tuesday, August 13 from 5 to 6:30
